Working As an Actor

If you are interesting in working television or film as an actor or model, there are a few steps that you should follow to get started:

1.  Take some acting classes or hire an acting coach.

2.  Develop a résumé using a standard L.A./Hollywood Format Résumé Template, available in the Movie Extra 101 book and UNO course.

3.  Develop a Motion Picture Personal Profile Sheet, available in the Movie Extra 101 book and UNO course.

4.  Have someone take some high-quality photos of you or pay a photographer to shoot some headshots.

5.  Send your résumé, profile sheet, and headshots to agents and/or talent agencies. (List available in the Movie Extra 101 UNO course.)
